Instagram Story Unlock - Terms & Conditions

⚠️ IMPORTANT: By submitting your Instagram handle and screenshot, you agree to these terms. Please read carefully before proceeding.
1. Eligibility Requirements
To participate in the Instagram Unlock program, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Have an active, public Instagram account
- Comply with Instagram's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines
- Have created an itinerary on Tripsora that requires unlocking
- Not have previously used this Instagram handle to unlock another Tripsora itinerary
2. How the Unlock Program Works
2.1 Posting Requirements:
- You must post to your Instagram Story (not feed post)
- You must tag @tripsorahq in your story
- You must use the provided template text or substantially similar content
- Your story must be posted BEFORE you submit your unlock request
- Your story must still be live (not expired) at the time of submission
2.2 Screenshot Requirements:
- You must upload a clear screenshot showing your Instagram story
- Screenshot must show the @tripsorahq tag
- Screenshot must show your Instagram username
- Screenshot must show a recent timestamp
- File must be JPG or PNG format, maximum 5MB
2.3 One-Time Use Policy:
- Each Instagram handle can only unlock ONE Tripsora itinerary
- Attempting to use the same handle for multiple itineraries will be rejected
- This policy applies even if the original itinerary was deleted or modified
3. Verification Process
3.1 Manual Review:
- All submissions are manually reviewed by Tripsora staff
- We verify your Instagram story meets all requirements
- Verification typically takes a few hours, maximum 24 hours
- We reserve the right to reject submissions that don't meet requirements
3.2 Approval Criteria:
Your submission will be approved if:
- Story contains @tripsorahq tag
- Story uses required template content
- Story is still live and not expired
- Screenshot matches the submitted Instagram handle
- Instagram handle has not been used previously
3.3 Rejection Reasons:
We may reject your submission if:
- Story does not tag @tripsorahq correctly
- Story content is inappropriate or violates Instagram TOS
- Screenshot does not match requirements
- Story has expired (24+ hours old)
- Instagram handle was previously used
- Submission appears fraudulent or manipulated
4. Timeline & Unlocking
- Verification: Up to 24 hours from submission
- Unlock: Content unlocks immediately upon approval
- Auto-Unlock: If not manually reviewed within 24 hours, content may auto-unlock (subject to later verification)
- Revocation: We reserve the right to revoke access if verification later reveals non-compliance
5. Data Privacy & Usage
5.1 Information We Collect:
- Instagram handle (username)
- Screenshot of your Instagram story
- Email address (from your itinerary)
- Submission timestamp and IP address
5.2 How We Use Your Data:
- To verify your Instagram story meets requirements
- To prevent fraud and multiple submissions
- To send you confirmation and verification emails
- To improve our service and prevent abuse
5.3 Data Retention:
- Screenshots are stored securely for verification purposes
- We retain data for fraud prevention for up to 12 months
- You may request deletion per our Privacy Policy
- Instagram handles are permanently stored to prevent reuse
5.4 Third-Party Sharing:
- We do NOT share your Instagram handle or screenshots with third parties
- We do NOT post to your Instagram account
- We do NOT access your Instagram data beyond publicly visible story content
6. Instagram Terms of Service Compliance
By participating, you confirm that:
- You own the Instagram account you're submitting
- Your story complies with Instagram's Community Guidelines
- You're not violating Instagram's spam or authenticity policies
- You understand Instagram may remove your story if it violates their terms
- Tripsora is not responsible for Instagram's actions regarding your account
7. No Guarantees & Disclaimers
- No Guarantee of Approval: Meeting requirements does not guarantee approval
- Service Availability: We may suspend the program at any time
- Technical Issues: We're not liable for verification delays due to technical problems
- Instagram Changes: Program may be modified if Instagram changes their terms
- Alternative Payment: You can always unlock content via payment (£2.49) instead
8. User Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate information (Instagram handle, screenshot)
- Not manipulate or fake screenshots
- Not use automated tools or bots
- Not create multiple accounts to circumvent one-time use policy
- Not submit inappropriate or offensive content
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
9. Prohibited Activities
The following are strictly prohibited:
- Submitting fake or manipulated screenshots
- Using someone else's Instagram account without permission
- Creating multiple Tripsora accounts to unlock multiple itineraries
- Purchasing or trading Instagram handles for unlock purposes
- Automated submissions or use of bots
- Posting content that violates Instagram or Tripsora terms
Violations may result in: Permanent ban from program, account suspension, and legal action if applicable.
10. Refund & Cancellation Policy
- Instagram unlock is a free alternative to paid unlock
- No refunds are provided as no payment is made
- If rejected, you may resubmit with a corrected screenshot (subject to verification)
- You may choose paid unlock (£2.49) at any time instead
11. Modifications to Terms
Tripsora reserves the right to:
- Modify these terms at any time
- Change program requirements
- Suspend or terminate the program
- Changes effective immediately upon posting
- Continued use constitutes acceptance of modified terms
12. Limitation of Liability
Tripsora is not liable for:
- Rejection of submissions that appear to meet requirements
- Delays in verification beyond 24 hours
- Instagram's actions regarding your account or story
- Loss of access to your itinerary content
- Technical issues preventing verification
- Third-party actions related to your Instagram activity
13. Dispute Resolution
- Disputes should be sent to: [email protected]
- We'll respond within 5 business days
- If unresolved, disputes governed by UK law (England & Wales)
- Courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction
